The Story Behind Our Name

Hunter + King takes its name from Atlanta’s Hunter Street and the corridor now known as Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.

Atlanta's evolution, its communities, cultural richness, and changing landscape inspired our founder to consider how places carry their history while becoming something new. Where we begin does not determine everything we can become, but every transformation leaves an imprint on what follows.

That idea informs our work: helping organizations move forward with intention and build the capability to sustain what comes next.
